To all those involved with the Vanna
Contest,
I just wanted to thank-you for a
wonderful trip and to let you know how the results of your
work and effort in planning the contest and trip were
appreciated by myself and my husband. We had a great flight
from Michigan to California. Once in California, we decided to
rent a car for our time there instead of taking taxis. The
hotel was excellent and so close to the studio. It was a
special treat for us to have such a nice room.
We had an outstanding buffet
breakfast at the hotel on Thursday and then headed out for the
meeting with Vanna. Susi, Vanna's assistant, had been in
contact to give us the plan for the meeting and instructions
on how to get to the studio. Once there, she brought us to
Vanna's room to say hello. We were able to take a few pictures
and Vanna autographed a book for me that I brought. After
meeting with David Blumenthal and John Menzer, we took more
pictures with my afghan. Everyone "oohed" and "ahhed"
over the afghan and we kept smiling for the pictures.
Very quickly it was time to watch
the show. We were given the VIP treatment with the best seats
in the house. I had never been to a taping so it was all very
interesting. We only stayed for one taping because we were
going to a tour of Sony Studios in the afternoon.
It was all over too soon and the
next day we headed off. I really appreciate it that you let us
extend the date of our return trip home. Also, the extra
$500.00 in the prize package took care of all the extras
needed to make the trip smooth and memorable.
Your kindness and generosity will
be forever remembered as making it a once in a lifetime
experience.
Thank-you so much,
Sarah Karnes
